Half way there!

Amazing! I'm halfway there. This shawl is going to be a wedding gift in June. It represents the first large lace project I've done. I'm very much looking forward to reworking the long leaf lace portion as I move to the second half of the project.

The second skein is now happily balled using my new yarn winder that my husband gave me for my birthday - thanks Greg! What a difference it was to be winding this yarn whilst using the winder: it saved me at least an hour! And, look! It's wound so neatly. It makes me happy. :)
